Pre-trial investigation relating to the Kotka battery materials plant construction site

On 30 October 2026, the Helsinki Police Department released a statement about a pre-trial investigation relating to the Kotka battery materials plant. Eezy Plc confirms that it is aware of the pre-trial investigation and considers it important that any potential irregularities are thoroughly investigated.

It is of paramount importance to Eezy that all activities carried out by the company and its partners comply with Finnish law and the company’s Code of Ethics. Eezy has acted appropriately and in accordance with applicable legislation in matters relating to the battery materials plant construction project.

Eezy is assisting the authorities in every way possible to clarify the matter. As part of the pre-trial investigation, individuals employed by Eezy have also been interviewed.
